Excellent tactical rpg !

controls r a bit tricky but easy once you adjust them in the settings. Love the game so far. So many characters to try. Graphics r awesome!!!

A great RPG. Really impressive graphics and gameplay. Has elements of XCOM but with the loot and character progression of Diablo. Simply loving it !!!

This is a suburb mix of old school RPG with XCOM tactics like cover. Takes a little while to get used to but its very rewarding once you do. Gameplay and strategy is great. Music is really nice too and suits the dark atmosphere well. Game is too hard though after the first quest. I had to change difficulty to easy in the options menu.

This game really gets its claws in you early and wont let go! Getting new items after each battle and being able to buy new items with your gold keeps you looking for that uber sword or armour. I love the character designs and the environments. The battles can be quite challenging. You never know when you may need to change tactics in order to adjust to the enemy attacks. Nice job Developer!

Looks great and strategy has depth to it. Few bugs to work out post release but devs are making an effort and listening to feedback so five stars for that.

Dont overlook this one! Tons of different heroes to use, very fun game!

I like the game, it has a lot of good elements to it. The hit chances sometimes seem kind of low but it works as much in your favour as the AIs. The only problem with is when I complete a mission and I move directly to the next one rather than going back to camp, I have problems selecting my heroes and getting them to move. Im on an IPad mini 2.

Great game so far I waited before buying because I was hesitant but glad I did. The game has many characters to choose from. Gameplay is fun due to the vast options of creating your team. The developer has been pretty good adding new characters and fixing bugs as well. I recommend this hidden gem.

Wow. Post-update, this game is, simpy put, fantastic. EVERYTHING that was done to the game; tweaks, balancing, additions, graphical changes - theyre all great. Before the update, this game was already very recommendable, but now after this latest update, theres a pretty good chance this will wind up on a LOT of tactical/strategy RPG fans best of lists. Its like a mixture of XCOM and something from the Warhammer universe, but totally its own beast. You can build your own squad from a great selection of characters (30 of them!!) or play with a pre-built squad from one of the 4 warbands of the land. Youre able to patrol ruins to search for loot and make sure your characters are strong enough for the next quest battle, which helps immensely if you get stuck on a quest level. I could go on and on and on... but I dont think people really want to read iTunes reviews that are as long as blog or website reviews... so Ill just say this... I am a HUGE SRPG fan, especially on my iDevice. Demons Rise is #4 on my favorite SRPG list (for any and all gaming consoles). If youre a fan of the genre, you should pick it up. If youre a fan of fantasy RPGs, and curious about the tactical side of the RPG genre, this would be a fantastic game to introduce you to that. Its very accessable, but also allows for quite a bit of depth with character equips, the way your squad can play off one another, a cover system and more, keeping this SRPG veteran very, VERY happy. Best update ever! Good job! Only concern: Add more missions. 6 weeks are not enough! Another idea: Rerun all the missions with higher difficulty, but same save file.

Probably the best SRPG on the IOS. This game have some many fun playable characters. Tons of loot to find and to customize your characters. With many missions and constant patching and tweaking by the developer - what more can you ask for? If you like SRPGs, its a must have!

Long time game nerd person. First time reviewer. This game is fantastic. We need more fantasy themed X-Com like iOS games. It could be improved upon, and many would pay a bit more for more content and expanded upgrades. Also: thanks for making games without in app purchases.

I dont often review games, but this developer has done a fine job creating a fun, deep, and accessible strategy RPG. Lots of variety in heroes, abilities, loot, and enemies. Good design for mobile (control scheme and autosaving). Solid graphics. Not too steep a learning curve. A story thats actually interesting. Excellent content updates. Support quality devs!

Ive looked for a long time for a game like this.good story,great gameplay,great graphics...its the ultimate iPad RPG .great characters,loot,enemies,strategy.it doesnt get better than this.party strategy/with ( hate to be cliche) Diablo elements and a great story.

playingf on my iphone 6. Game glitches. Ive run 4 patrol ruins quests, and there is no "continue-on" bar when ive won the fight. So i can see my loot and exp, but i have to quit the game and log back on in order to keep playing. And it never gives me my loot or xp :(. Fix that, and you get 5 stars. Feel free to comp me some in-game stuff. This is really aggravating!

Enjoyable hexagonal view turn based role playing game. Most of the main action revolves going about in a hub where you csn choose to go in a dungeon for a quest, practice with easier monsters, or rest at a inn. There is also a shrine donation system which allows you to obtain various buffs to aid your dungeon crawl runs. As this game takes place in the sewers though, the monsters blend in with the surroundings, making them harder to see and differentiate thier positions, that was my only gripe. Other than that this is a solid rpg for dungeon crawler fans.

Where do I start? Great graphics. Tons of options of characters, enemies. Story was meh, Im not a story kind of guy. I dont know how much I paid for it but I would gladly pay ten to fifteen for it. Lots of replay value,I beat it and keep going , looking for loot dawg!
