Perfect RPG, regular updates, responsive developer. What else do we need?? Just awesome.

The gameplay is fun so far, but I have run into game stopping bugs were you can not finish a level because it does not ever give the "leave level" button after destroying all the enemies. This forces you to restart the level and try again which is very annoying. Hopefully they get this addressed and keep supporting the game.

Nice game, if it did not crash all the time. Took all the effects off on my 6 plus and to no avail crashes every time on large map some times on small.

This game is one of the greats of the genre! It has turn-based strategy, deep RPG character development, creative choices of six characters (not just the standard fighter, Mage, rogue, priest), and a good storyline so far. I even enjoy the music and voice acting! It is, however still buggy; levels freeze where you cant select any hex, or just randomly crash. Please fix soon! I would also enjoy a bit more control of level-up skill choices. Thanks for the great game!

Within the first ten minutes of the game it crashed three times. Playing on iPhone 6+. Little I did play had over reactive camera and slow gameplay.

This is a great turn based dungeon crawler. Great graphics and sound make killing the enemies a pleasure. Buy and sell items to make your pre-made adventurers as strong as possible, or make up your own set of adventurers and dive into this beautifully rendered dungeon. Move your characters from cover to cover avoiding monsters and slaying them like the vile creatures they are. The developers have consistently updated the game adding new features and fixing any small issues that occur. This game is a bargain, and should be purchased by any RPG/dungeon loving gamer. Fantastic!

I discovered this title as it was listed as a sleeper hit for iOS RPGs of 2015. Ill keep this review short and simple. + 25+ units to choose from (and growing) to form a 6-person party + Meaty campaign to delve through in addition to optional battles to help level units + Plenty of skills on each characters + Lots of equipment with many possibilities in variants + Looks good for a Unity game + Active developer focused on bringing plenty of updates (more units, balance/nerfs, general improvements) + Lots of save slots (at least more than a dozen) + No IAPs = Battles can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming with constant enemy reinforcements (often 6 v. 30+ in most battles) = Very light on story with the focus on finding loot and leveling units = Can be quite the battery killer (what iOS game isnt really) but different aspects of the graphics can be changed to lessen it - Some control issues when it comes to selecting skills, choosing targets to use them on, moving units in general - Environments feel more of the same (think Torchlight/Diablo where its just one dungeon but with several different strata) Overall, I feel like even though the game is a bit rough, but those interested in a good tactical RPG will find it here with Demons Rise. Definitely give this one a shot, it could certainly use some more attention!

This game is rad. I e-mailed the dev about some bugs I found. He was responsive and quickly released a patch. I have no complaints and am glad I bought this game. It has good replay value-- with over 50 character classes, and the ability to have multiple copies of the same character = 50 x 6 = 300 different party combinations. There arent AIPs ether.

Fun strategy game, well worth twice or three times the price, somewhat in the vein of Warhammer Quest or XCOM. It doesnt have the production value of those other games, but that doesnt take away any of the fun. And this game has some interesting concepts the others dont. Give it a try!

This really is an amazing turn based game. I saw it when it first came out but didnt have a desire for it until a few days ago. Ive been playing it a lot. Low budget games are usually sick. It has some problems that sticks out. Nit crashed twice in an hour on iPad Air. Not a big deal. I like the saves after turns. Its annoying when it zooms in on the character and you cant see anything but him/her and cant see the damage you do. The camera is awful with touch but I just use the rotation on the middle right. Its fine. I wish the maps were bigger with more cover and looked a little different. Like snowy,mountainous,castle( but not as underground dungeon style like it already is)etc etc. while still maintaing that mythical fantasy magic image. The dungeons do get old. And sometimes it feels pointless to land on a tile for hp and energy. I wont be able to attack if the enemies are far away and will waste a turn but hey strategy lovers will enjoy that. They will also enjoy how the enemies can pick up potions and gold but I dont. But I love grinding for gold to get sick items. And the arena thing instead of story mode was a great idea. Along with the favor and tavern idea. Overall its great and good job to the lone team who put it together.

A very fun turn base game, that can be challenging at times. However i noticed that since the last update the game has crashed on me more (5 times the last 30 mins) I use a iPhone 6. Besides that, the game is good game to have in your library.

Well worth the money. Simple game mechanics and RPG board game feel.

Best SRPG on the App Store, bar none. Dev have put so many hours into making it better and better. Tons of playable characters addition and improved gameplay. It will be on my iPad forever

Update: The game just keeps improving. I noticed the latest updates with bug fixes, graphics enhancements, and other great stuff. It seems our suggestions are being taken seriously. Im not sure if the fast-forward button was there before, but it sure makes things fly by faster in a good way. If you like strategy RPGs, dont like annoying ads interrupting your gameplay or having to buy diamonds etc. to advance further, then look no further. This is a premium game with excellent graphics, nice/challenging gameplay with a variety of characters to choose from and customizations available (such as the graphics in the options menu). Its a hidden gem of a game.
